I’ve had an idea of having a sticker pack for a number of years. It took quite a while to assemble a list of reactions to include in the pack, but when I finally did (and also had money to spare) I commissioned Nix to draw me one. It has 30 stickers (was supposed to be 31, but one is missing as I’m still trying to find a reference for it), although actual reactions take only about half of the pack. The other half is effects of Thalasin.
A little while ago I was thinking about possible ideas for commissions. One of them was my pokesona as a Postal Dude, because I love Postal game series. But I didn’t want to commission ZiPo for that, I think his art style wouldn’t fit the theme, even though he likes Postal games as well. Nix was out of the question too, I mean, come on, cute Postal Dude? I needed something more crude. And artists I didn’t know personally wouldn’t be too happy with my lack of a reference sheet. But it so happens that my friend Jim has just the right style.
Back in May, during a Friday evening I was having some beer as I tend to (when I’m not on medication) while watching Markiplier’s sonic.EYX video. I liked how Tails looked there, or rather I felt a strong urge to comfort him. That’s how I came up with a prompt for this commission. ZiPo was glad he finally had an excuse to draw Tails because he had been wanting to for a while. I still had to wait almost five months because life happened, but here it is.
Originally ZiPo didn’t draw the sneakers because his referenceimages didn’t have them. I don’t know why he used these particular images or how it happened to be barefoot Tails, but I kinda liked how he drew the paws, so I asked to add the sneakers as an additional version rather than the only one.
This one is pretty straightforward: my pokesona looks lovingly at yandere Twilight who’s in a schoolgirl outfit. Done, of course, by Nix. Did I mention I absolutely love yanderes? Although just the obsessive types, not the possessive ones.
For the longest time I had one avatar: a Terriermon with byakugan, a spiked collar and a tattoo. ZiPo came up with it for me after I told him how much I liked Terriermon from Digimon Tamers. But in 2016 I came up with a pokesona, Glaceon, an OC I could call my own. This is my attempt to show they are the one and same - me. I liked duality images kinda like this one from Poor Yorick, so I wanted something like that. ZiPo proposed the idea of a broken mirror and a butter knife which I liked. The mirror also means that the image is flipped, so the tattoo on Terriermon’s head is on the wrong side and reversed. Anyway, the result looks cool as fuck.
Nearly 3 years ago I was working on something for a website I admin. I don’t remember what I was doing, but it was very frustrating because the said website uses UcoZ CMS. It’s actually a pretty good general purpose free (with lots and lots of ads until you pay them) CMS for people that don’t really know how to manage a website. Nobody likes the fact we have to use UcoZ, but at this point migration to a “real” CMS would be pointless, so we clench out teeth and deal with it. Besides, usually I’m the one who is frustrated with UcoZ the most, since I manage the technical part of the website, nobody else has any problem with it. Also the website is pretty much dead, but at least I keep it functioning. Anyway, I was doing something, got frustrated and commissioned Nix to draw my pokesona unleashing his rage upon UcoZ. I had no idea how to portray a CMS, and it seems she decided to just use their logo.
Just 19.5 months after placing the order Nix started drawing my commissions. This is the first one out of currently 11 (!) that I put into her backlog. Some of those aren’t even relevant anymore… Anyway, my first commission was my pokesona as a member of Team Skull from Pokemon Sun/Moon.
Back in April my friends and I had an idea for a custom cup design for our tea parties. My friends helped me brainstorm the design idea, and I then commissioned Nix to draw my characters drinking tea.
It turned out, that I need a full featured website much less than a simple blog.
I don’t want to have a blog on Tumblr, but I do like their implementation of it, so I went with Chyrp, which is pretty close. But then Chyrp died, so I moved to Hugo.
The blog is NSFW, as I might occasionally post some pr0n and other disturbing stuff.
