PlayStation 4 controller

Like I don’t have enough controllers already… I think Xbox One controller is somewhat better. PlayStation 4 controller feels too soft. Yes, it has a touchpad, lights and a speaker, but the buttons’ press doesn’t feels very crisp. Also the D-Pad feels kinda mushy, while on Xbox controller you can feel each direction very well. I guess I’ll play with it for a while and then decide. I already know it’ll be way better than Steam controller, at least in controller-based games.

Steam Controller

It costed a lot (even though I bought it from Amazon) and it wasn’t easy to get it on time, but I managed to get my hands on it. Actually, I got it this Monday, it was just a pretty busy week so I didn’t really have time to do much at the evenings, besides I wanted to give the controller some test run first before writing about it.

The controller has its ups and downs. I still can’t decide if it’s really good or not. I think I’ll just make a bullet-list of its good and bad sides and then summarize my short experience with it.

Two in the night

I commissioned Bestary, another friend artist of mine to draw me my avatar riding my ponified avatar, and after three weeks that’s how it turned out. It took her quite a few attempts to get the anatomy right, as she doesn’t have an experience of drawing ponies (or digimon).

Shipping: my OC x ZiPo's OC

A while ago ZiPo and I decided to support our friend NiX by commissioning her a piece of art at the price of what she earned by drawing for two months for really cheap prices. That’s the end result. We commissioned a shipping of our OCs. NiX refuses draw anything kinky, so that’s the best we could get from her. Cute is her thing, though, it it looks just that. For the record, ZiPo’s OC is male.

Juridical Llama

The art I commissioned quite a while ago (I believe, it was around May, 2015). I misread a phrase on Russian QDB bash.im while half asleep and that’s how term “juridical llama” was born. I then wanted to see how it would look. Apparently, this is it.

Poor man's lock picks

Recently I became interested in lock picking, and for that I blame YouTube. It turned out, picking locks is fun and challenging. It’s like solving a Rubik’s Cube. I’ve read Mike Gibson’s (DrBint) “Lock Picking: Detail Overkill” and watched a bunch of YouTube videos, so I know the basics of lock picking. Unfortunately, I don’t think there’s a way to get lock picks in my area, and I don’t have neither tools nor knowledge to make a decent pick myself.

Scolipede pin-up

A vector of Scolipede from this awesome picture by ConterMarune (posted with his permission). Another half-assed vector from me, because I recently beat Pokemon Omega Ruby (yes, I am tardy) and played a lot with Scolipede in Pokemon Amie. Scolipede is such a cutie! Original image belongs to ConterMarune. Scolipede and other Pokemon belong to Nintendo and/or GameFreak (I don’t know how they manage IP between themselves). I only vectorized what has been created by them.

Nameless TerrPony

An update to this picture. A rather badass one. This is hands down ZiPo’s best work so far and rightfully so: he spent almost an entire day worth working on this picture. You can see quite a few positive changes from the first revision of this OC. The cutie mark is a subject to change. The character doesn’t have the name, the story or talent yet, but despite that he’s not an adoptable.

New Nintendo 3DS

Yup, that’s totally more important than a new pair of shoes. It’s almost summer anyway and rains are about to stop in a few days, so I can wait one more month. I was so excited! At first, that is. After all, who doesn’t like to play with a new gadget, even if it’s almost like the one I already own? But then I turned it on. I was able to choose English language for the menu, although a few elements of the interface are still in Russian, which kinda bugs me.
