I bought New Nintendo 3DS
Yup, that’s totally more important than a new pair of shoes. It’s almost summer anyway and rains are about to stop in a few days, so I can wait one more month.
I was so excited! At first, that is. After all, who doesn’t like to play with a new gadget, even if it’s almost like the one I already own?
But then I turned it on. I was able to choose English language for the menu, although a few elements of the interface are still in Russian, which kinda bugs me. And then I launched Nintendo eShop. It was horrible… It’s in Russian and there’s no way to change it! Furthermore, all titles are in Russian and even videos! And what really pisses me off is that the translation isn’t even that good. I sure hope that I’ll be able to choose language for games I’ll buy in the future…
For the first time I almost regret buying a gadget. I should’ve just bought the US version of Pokémon Omega Ruby instead of the EU one + Russian version of a console…
Well, firmware aside, the console is pretty nice. It’ll take some time getting used to new positions of some elements, but that’s fine. It’s good piece of hardware, that’s why I only almost regret buying it.
